Main Events prides itself on being versatile. Whether you are planning a wedding reception, holiday party, Bat mitzvah, school dance, or church function, Main Events has the music and the experience to make it a success! References will be gladly provided upon request. 
What are your DJs like?
All Main Events DJ’s are professionally trained, experienced, and personable. They excel at getting the crowd excited and keeping the fun going all night long. Each DJ is concerned with making your event their best ever! Also, Main Events DJ’s know that you are the stars of the day, not them. They always act professional and in good taste, and arrive early at your event appropriately dressed. From tuxedos to cowboy hats, it’s your call.
What type of sound equipment do you provide?
We use only top of the line digital sound systems and professional intelligent lighting. Without boring you with all the technical details, our systems are well above industry standards with a very full range of sound, beautiful clarity and durability, to ensure that your music will sound perfect on your special day! Main Events is proud to be one of the only Disc Jockey Company’s in Colorado that provides emergency “backup” Disc Jockeys and equipment, just in case. Top it all off with wireless microphones, a 30,000 song selection, and a terrific DJ, and you’ve got the perfect combination.
What types of music do you offer?
Main Events offers one of the widest selections of music available…disco, country western (old and new), alternative, R&B, jazz, pop, rock, punk, you name it, we have it! Also, if you have favorites that you would like to bring to your event, your DJ will be happy to incorporate it into the show.
Do I get to select the music I want played?
Other DJ’s simply mail you a song list and a contract, and say choose the songs you like, send us the contract, and we will see you on the day of the event. Main Events is dedicated to going the distance. Our Personal Consultation is your opportunity to go through our extensive song list and select the songs you would like to hear. Main Events is concerned with the types of music you enjoy, and strive to make your event your own.
Are all of your events performed the same?
There are two sides to this answer. Main Event's high standards dictate that all events are performed with superior digital sound systems, in good taste, with courtesy,
enthusiasm, and professionalism. However, Main Event's professionally trained DJ’s have made it their specialty to customize each event. Your DJ will incorporate your musical tastes and your guest’s request with all time favorite party hits to ensure that everyone enjoys the musical entertainment. Main Events DJ’s enjoy being interactive with the crowd, and in turn, your guests will keep the dance floor packed!!
Do you take requests?
Yes!! We love requests! Not only do you get to select the types of music you like before the event from our extensive collection, you and your guests are welcome to make requests during your event. You may even bring special music of your own.
My buddy said he could be the DJ. Why should I hire a professional DJ instead?
Main Events DJ’s are not “weekend warriors”. This is our full time career, and it is one that we are proud of and enjoy. Anyone can just bring a stereo to your party and play music, but there really is a lot more to it. Main Event's professional DJ’s bring with them their expertise, thousands of song titles, and professional equipment. A professional knows how to read the crowd and tailor the music to the guests. A professional knows how to keep the party flowing at a fun pace so you don’t lose half your guests in the middle of the party. These are talents that you can’t succeed at when you only “practice” on the weekends. Anyone can simply play music, but a Professional Main Events professional DJ provides musical entertainment.
Will you conduct the announcements at our reception?
Your Main Events disc jockey will perform all the necessary announcements as your Master of Ceremonies as well as coordinate your entire reception. We take care of all the details so you
can relax, have fun, and not worry about what the next step is and when it should start. With our tremendous experience in wedding planning, facility coordination and all other aspects of wedding events, we can help you make your wedding perfect.
Is there a travel charge for locations outside of Denver?
Main Events services a wide area that includes the front range (Metro area, Castle Rock, Boulder, Golden, Idaho Springs, Westminster areas), Northern Colorado (Greeley, Longmont, Loveland, Estes Park, Fort Morgan areas). For events within these areas, there are no travel fees for DJ entertainment. For locations outside of these areas, a minimal travel fee may apply. Simply give us a call at your convenience and we will be happy to give you an exact quote for your event. Otherwise you are welcome to take a look at our current rates on our pricing page.
Do we provide the DJ food?
At Main Events, we understand catering can be expensive, for this reason we do not ask to the client to provide food for the DJs, but it is offered we always appreciate a bite to eat!
Do we Tip the DJ? If we do How Much is an average tip?
Main Events does not require gratuity, if you enjoyed the DJ's work, please feel free to give him a tip. Tips usually average $50-$100, depending on length and how well you liked him.
